Howard Smith Wharves makes weekday eating easier with its Let’s Lunch program

The dining precinct at Howard Smith Wharves has something for most tastes and the return of its month-long Let’s Lunch program means now there is a host of budget-friendly lunch options for folks itching to sample Greca’s Greek eats, Yoko’s jaw-dropping Japanese fare or one of Stanley’s sumptuous Chinese meals. Here’s what’s on offer from Monday to Friday at Howard Smith Wharves from now until Friday April 8.

Too often we have found ourselves chained to our work desks, eating our unsatisfactory meal-prepped lunch that we got sick of two serves in. While eating out for lunch every day is not feasible for most of us outside of the CEO earning bracket, the restaurant’s at riverside hub Howard Smith Wharves are making the weekday fun-lunch outing much more enticing (and affordable) with its Let’s Lunch program. Eight participating restaurants, including Mr. Percival’s, Felons Brewing Co. and Barrel Hall, Yoko, Greca, Stanley, Ciao Papi and Fiume, have assembled a collection of delectable dishes that come paired with a drink – with deals starting at $20.

Highlights of the Let’s Lunch offering include Greca’s lamb souvlaki with pickled onion, tomato, ladolemono and Greek Island fries wrapped in a fluffy pita, Felons Barrel Hall’s red curry of braised Angus brisket with rice and roti, Yoko’s tori paitan ramen with spicy fried chicken, kombu corn and bean sprouts, and Ciao Papi’s penne with Italian pork sausage ragu. If you’re keen to splurge, Stanley head chef Louis Tikaram is whipping up soy-poached Brisbane Valley quail, which comes served with steamed choy sum and jasmine rice.
