Numerous businesses have been seriously affected by the event, with many now relying on community support to get back on their feet. We’re compiling a growing list of businesses that you can support in these trying times, including links to donation pages for those with the means to lend assistance.

If you have some spare change lying around, be sure to head to your nearest Bunnings store and snag a snag!

Australian Venue Co.’s Beers for Mates program
If there’s anything clean-up crews and flood-affected locals could use after weeks of muddy work, it’s a beer. While it might not be possible to buy everyone affected in Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales a beer, you can help them out by buying yourself one! From now until Thursday March 31, more than 180 Australian Venue Co. pubs nationwide will be donating a portion of sales from select beers ($1 from schooners and $2 from pints of XXXX Gold, for Queensland locations) to the Red Cross flood appeal.
