New Herv’e Dining & Cocktail Bar serves up intricate flavours
Catering to a busy lunch trade and discreet late-night dining is new Fortitude Valley haunt, Herv’e Dining & Cocktail Bar. Situated on bustling Brunswick Street, Herv’e Dining & Cocktail Bar embraces a shared-food concept, with small and large grazing plates of intricate flavours featuring on the menu.
Small plates include the likes of Edamame with Toasted Dried Chilli and Shallots and Escargot with Confit Garlic and Herb Butter, while Smoked Dr Pepper Pork Ribs with Dehydrated Prosciutto and Watermelon Salad and Tea-smoked Heirloom Vegetables with Truffle, Goats Curd and Olive Dust appear in larger portions. Charcuterie and cheese platters also feature, alongside a tempting dessert menu.
Catering to those craving a healthy option at lunch, Herv’e Dining & Cocktail Bar crafts French baguettes and crisp salads, like the Confit Slow-roasted Pork Baguette with Pickled Carrot, Radish, Japanese Mayo, Fresh Chilli and Coriander. Utilising fresh, organic produce across the menus, owners Kristy O’Donnell and Janice Mcgregor source their ingredients direct from the local farmers markets on weekends, with the team also growing its own hydroponic herbs out the back.
While the liquor licence is still pending, Herv’e is a BYO venue, with freshly squeezed mocktails packed with fruit and teas satisfying during the day.
