Extra, extra! Read all about it! Beloved grocer Harris Farm Markets is finally opening its doors in West End on Friday June 4, bringing with it a mind-boggling array of fresh produce and artisanal groceries. This jam-packed one-stop shop is guaranteed to get you excited to do your grocery shopping.
Following hot on the heels of the December 2020 opening of its Clayfield store, Harris Farm Markets’ much-anticipated flagship Queensland store in West End is set to open this Friday June 4 – and our bodies are ready. Spread across an 1800-sqm space on the ground floor of the 1920s Peters Ice Cream Building at the heart of West Village, Harris Farm Markets West End will showcase a top-tier selection of primo produce and boutique groceries from more than 300 Queensland growers, creators and producers.
Shoppers can fill their cart with 500 kinds of fruit and vegetables (as well as a range of imperfect picks), fresh flowers, baked goods courtesy of Danny’s Boulangerie (the makers behind Teneriffe’s famous Danny’s Bread) and meaty morsels from the butcher, which also boasts a dry-aged fridge. Dairy lovers can get their fix with Maleny Dairy and Barambah Organics milk on tap as well as a staggering 500-strong cheese selection from Cheese Alley, whilst meat-free folk can shop more than 150 plant-based products, Inside Out oak milk on tap and pour-your-own honey. There will also be plenty of seafood delights from a specialist fishmonger, a bevy of cured and fermented smallgoods and sweet treats from an on-site doughnut deli. Yes, you read that right – a doughnut deli. Swoon.
