Go gaga over Harajuku Gyoza’s cheeseburger-stuffed dumpling

The mad scientists at the Harajuku Gyoza kitchen laboratory have struck again. Following on from the popular long fries and raindrop cake, the dumpling destination has unveiled its newest quirky menu item – a cheeseburger gyoza. Imagine crispy fried gyoza on the outside and tasty burger filling on the inside. This is the kind of fusion that is guaranteed to pique our curiosity.

The humble cheeseburger is one of the most iconic food items to have ever graced our palate, so when someone takes the liberty of messing with it we tend to get protective. Thankfully the team at Harajuku Gyoza are experts at taking weird and wild ideas and making them work, so when the Japanese-inspired food empire announced the arrival of cheeseburger gyozas, we were more intrigued than offended.

Each crispy gyoza is filled with flame-grilled grass-fed beef, which has been lovingly topped with melted aged cheddar on top of the grill. This moreish mass is then combined with onion, pickles, mustard and tomato sauce before being sliced, diced and sealed inside the dumpling dough and deep-fried to perfection. All Harajuku Gyoza stores will be hawking these tasty treats, so if you don’t want to be weighed down by filling buns we suggest you skip the fast-food outlets and head straight to your closest Harajuku Gyoza location.
