Grab something sweet from Gerbino’s Toowong

Gerbino’s is one of Brisbane’s best bakery chains and the family-owned business has expanded its territory with the opening of a brand new location in Toowong Village.

The Gerbino family is well known in Brisbane for being some of the best bakers in the entire city. Their pastries, desserts and biscuits are some of the most highly sought items thanks to the quality and care poured into the Gerbino’s product. Gerbino’s Ashgrove premises is one of the oldest continually running bakeries in town, and has become extremely popular since the Gerbino family took over in 2004. In addition to opening stores in Kelvin Grove and the CBD, Gerbino’s has opened up a grab-and-go location in Toowong Village, becoming one of the first new businesses to open after the centre’s extensive renovations.

Boasting fashionable black cabinetry, backlit shelving and pressed metal finishing, the small but cosy space evokes modern Parisian chic with its classic aesthetic. The Toowong cafe serves up all the delicious cakes, pies and slices that you’ve come to love, made fresh every morning at the larger Ashgrove location. Gerbino’s also brew a great cup of Segafredo coffee, with a decaf version available for those who simply love the taste. The most unique feature of the space is the back wall, which allows customers to make their own box of gourmet Italian biscuits to take home or to give as a present – the treats on offer are numerous and are hard to pass up when looking for something to nibble with your coffee. Online cake orders can be picked up at Toowong, saving you from having to travel into town to pick up your delectable dessert. Gerbino’s is set to become one of the best spots for coffee in Toowong Village. Stay for a bite or grab a snack before jumping on the train – Gerbino’s will have what you’re after.
