Say hello to Fruitbowl – a fresh-new concept of fruit-filled bowls by the Fishbowl team
If you’re anything like us, you love any type of food that comes served in a bowl. Whether it’s ice-cream, burritos or bibimbap, there’s something special about scooping a spoonful of flavoursome fare from a flavour-packed bowl. In July last year, Sydney-born Fishbowl opened its first Queensland location at Gasworks Plaza, changing our perceptions around the possibility of salad and reinventing fast food for a more health conscious population. Now, Fishbowl is adding another bowl-related dispensary to its portfolio. Say hello to Fruitbowl – it’s exactly like Fishbowl, just with fruit.
When it comes to high-quality produce, sustainable and ethical sourcing practices and dishes that are jam-packed with flavour, the Fishbowl crew know a thing or two about how to make the perfect guilt-free bowl. This is why since arriving on the scene in 2016, the beloved concept has launched in three states with more than 30 stores, building a loyal fanbase of salad-loving folk. If you consider yourself a part of that group, you will be thrilled to hear about Fishbowl’s newest addition, Fruitbowl, a brand-new concept which is exactly like Fishbowl, just with (you guessed it) fruit!
Combining locally-sourced fruit, freshly made acai and froyo bases with Fishbowl’s progressive culture, Fruitbowl follows the same principles and epicurean ethos. Mirroring Fishbowl’s quick-service concept – ravenous folk simply arrive at the counter, choose from an array of fresh fruit, acai, froyo, homemade granola and many more toppings, while a team of fast-handed fabricators fill a compostable bowl with your selection of nourishing nosh. Adequately positioned next door to Fishbowl, Fruitbowl’s vibrant design-driven space boasts the same kind of exuberant energy as its neighbour. Head there for a healthy treat after finishing off your Fishbowl, or just skip straight to dessert (no judgement here).
Fruitbowl is now open to the public, Head to the Stumble Guide for more details and operating hours.
