Each week, the selection of starters and mains will change depending on which cookbook the kitchen chooses to use for inspiration (think Cookbook in Los Angeles). Last weekend saw Tuscan Bean Soup Ribolitta served with sourdough and confit garlic, Papardelle with mushroom ragout and grana padano and Slow-Roasted Pork Belly with roasted fennel, sweet potato and sour cherry jam on the menu.

For the moment, Flamingo Cafe remains BYO while a liquor licence is processed, but the team is hoping to be serving up Flamingo-appropriate cocktails in the future. Make a reservation or just drop by on Friday and Saturday nights from 5:30–11:00 pm to sample this favourite cafe’s evening offerings.
