Celebrate Easter with a super-sweet line up of treats and eats at Brisbane Quarter

With Easter only weeks away, we’re more than a little excited for the copious amounts of chocolate and hot cross buns that will be consumed. What’s even more egg-citing is the spectacular selection of easter-themed events taking place around Brisbane. From choc-tails to bunny-themed high tea, Brisbane Quarter is offering a myriad of egg-celent eats and treats. Here are all of the delicious details …

Your first Brisbane Quarter Easter treat awaits at Brisbane Phoenix, where you can find an adorable bunny-shaped coconut jelly that is almost too cute to eat. Celebrating the year of the rabbit, this super-cute dessert is available at anytime during the Easter period. From April 4 to 6, Persone will be dishing up an Easter-themed dessert and drinkable, for those who prefer an alcohol-infused delicacy. Inspired by the classic French dessert, bombe Alaska, Persone’s ‘Easter Bombe’ is made with milk chocolate, coffee semifreddo and chocolate egg soil. The ‘Choconutty Bunny’ cocktail is a mouth-watering mixture of Bailey’s, coffee liqueur, chocolate and milk. Tenya will also be serving up an Easter-inspired tipple, made with a vanilla vodka base and banana chocolate liqueur. When it comes to hot cross buns, Brisbane has some bangin’ ones, and the hot cross buns from O’GaBee Coffee & Co are no exception. Grab your traditional toasty treat, drizzled with butter and accompanied by a morning brew throughout Easter.

Craving something more substantial? Three Blue Ducks is celebrating the arrival of the Easter bunny with some cracking-good food specials. Start the feasting festivities with wood-roasted scallops, with miso and wattleseed butter, toasted sesame and native citrus, followed by a turmeric and ginger fish curry with fried curry leaves, flatbread and coconut sambal. Cap off the Easter celebrations with Chef Mark Labrooy’s signature tiramisu, made with coffee-soaked savoiardi biscuit, whipped mascarpone, chocolate shavings and cream. Get ready to do some serious pinky lifting at W Brisbane’s Easter High Tea. Enjoy a special high tea, filled with three tiers of top-notch treats that can be enjoyed in the luxe surrounds of the Living Room Bar from March 30 to April 9. Need something to spice up your Easter outfit? Wil Valor have the perfect accessory to mark the occasion. Suit up in style with a gold bunny-themed brooch that is sure to help you stand out from the crowd. While you’re dining at Brisbane Quarter, be sure to snap a picture (or two) under the awe-inspiring cherry blossom tree, which is decorated with sparkly golden eggs over the Easter period.
