Pizza, pasta and pink drinks combine to raise money for vulnerable Australian women

If you can come up with a more delicious union than carbs and cocktails, we’d love to hear it. What if we told you that there was a way that you could help out people in need by indulging in these two culinary passions? The legends at Vapiano have decided to team up with beloved charity Share the Dignity to raise some much-needed funds to support Australian women stricken by homelessness, poverty and domestic violence – and all you have to do to help is Drink Pink.

We love any excuse to take in a tipple for charity, and Drink Pink Wednesdays at Vapiano ticks all of our boxes. From 5:00 pm every hump day, hungry patrons purchasing a main meal can also pick up a delicious (and adorable) pink gin spritz for just $5. The money from every single spritz sold goes towards the incredible Aussie charity Share the Dignity – so all you have to do to make a difference is sip a spritz, slurp some pasta and devour pizza.

The Drink Pink Wednesdays initiative was spearheaded by Vapiano as a way to spread awareness of Share the Dignity’s work while helping the charity’s cause in a direct and tangible way. With the proceeds of every spritz going directly to Share the Dignity, vital funds will be able to alleviate some of the stress on women and families in our country who are doing it tough. With a staggering 48,000 women in Australia experiencing homelessness, every bit helps – so drink up and do your part!

Drink Pink Wednesdays will be running at all Vapiano locations from 5:00 pm each week. For more information, head to our Event Guide.
