Dramanti Artisan Roaster opens coffee hub at Wynnum

Dragan Sestic has been roasting coffee beans for 11 years, but it was only since moving to Brisbane in 2007 that he decided to branch out on his own with Dramanti Artisan Roaster.

From working in a 9.5 sq m industrial shed to the now 120 sq m joint cafe and roaster at Wynnum, it’s evident that everything about Dramanti is growing. A very interactive space, this new open-plan coffee hub combines the espresso bar half with the roasting machines, so that customers can feel comfortable exploring both sides of their brew.

Pouring espresso-based coffee as well as aeropess, pourovers and cold press, Dramanti also sells the roasted, ground beans to take home. If Dragan is working the roaster, pop over for a chat about the process of green bean to cup – he doesn’t mind sharing his wealth of knowledge. Having owned the Dramanti cafe in Brisbane CBD for four years (previously Cafe Pronto), Dragan wanted to bring this new generation coffee culture to the southside, where this type of high-end, specialty coffee has not been previously accessible.
