Iconic brownie spot Dello Mano opens second dessert destination

Rejoice! Dello Mano has brought its epic collection of treats within easy reach of City denizens. The smell of freshly baked brownies has been wafting down Tattersall’s Arcade since the acclaimed sweet dispensary took up residence in early June.

In all honesty, there’s not much that beats getting your hands on a freshly baked brownie and savouring the gooey warm goodness with each mouthful. When Bien and Deborah Peralta began Dello Mano in 2006, it was to bring the exact same love of gourmet brownies to the people. Their handcrafted bespoke brownies caught on like wildfire and with the opening of its Teneriffe store in 2011 it wasn’t long before Dello Mano had set itself as the go-to spot for the moreish treats. Dello Mano has now expanded, opening a beautiful outlet in Tattersall’s Arcade in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD. The latest manifestation exudes comfort and warmth much like the brownies themselves, with rustic touches blending perfectly with the luminous cabinets filled with desserts of all kinds.

Long-time fans of Dello Mano’s brownies will be thrilled to know that there are seven new flavours being launched this month ranging from maple pecan, rum and raisin, chilli, orange cheesecake and more. Patrons are invited to gawk at the dessert cabinet and marvel at the selection of gargantuan cakes including the titanic Ode to the Golden Gaytime cake, luxuriously decadent brownie cake or the raspberry and passionfruit torte cake. The CBD location will also have a special focus on brownie-centric desserts, cakes, cookies and gift hampers. All treats are handmade at the Teneriffe location using the best produce available, from free-range eggs to soft butter. If you haven’t had a chance to try Dello Mano until now (first of all, what’s wrong with you?) stop in and snack on a few cheeky samples – you won’t be able to resist purchasing a few to take home.
