Daiso Brisbane

Japanese emporium Daiso opens in Brisbane City

The foreign edible treats that exchange students used to gift us as children are no longer just a novelty picked up on few-and-far-between trips to Japan. The weird and wonderful goods of the cherry blossom land can now be acquired in Brisbane City, with the opening of Daiso in the The Myer Centre. A retail giant in its homeland, Daiso carries more than 70,000 products all for the small cost of $2.80. Along with snack options like sugar-coated rice crackers, chocolate cream sandwich cookies, fried giant corn and crispy coated peanuts with cuttlefish, Daiso stocks goods for the kitchen, home, office, wardrobe and toy box.
