Lick a healthy refreshing popsicle from Crafty Pops

Even when the days are on the cooler side, an icy-cold, fruit-filled popsicle sounds appealing to grown-ups and little ones alike.

About to enter parenthood, Shane and Emmy Sutton (along with business partner Darren Senst) wanted a healthy alternative to sugar-laden ice-creams. The trio started Crafty Pops just six months ago, creating all-natural pops with no added sugar or dairy made from fruit, honey and herbs, which they circulate through Brisbane’s markets on push carts and bike carts. These purpose-built carts and bikes, tucked under an umbrella alongside a chalkboard baring the list of creative concoctions, are at Kelvin Grove Village Markets, Queen Street Farmers Markets, Boundary Street Markets and soon to be at the Jan Powers Powerhouse Farmers Markets.

With flavours from the supremely simple strawberry lemonade and watermelon mint to the unexpected and exotic strawberry balsamic, chilli chocolate, pineapple habanero, avocado lime and almond milk, strawberry mojito, pomegranate limeade as well as banana, blueberry and almond milk, there is something to appeal to every itty-bitty appetite.
