Spiral’s Organic Coconut Sweet Spread is made using coconut and extra virgin coconut oil, which are crushed together to form a paste, and then blended with coconut nectar to form a caramel. The caramel colour and rich sweetness is lent by the inclusion of coconut nectar, which is similar to maple syrup, and can be used as a substitute for agave nectar in recipes.
