Offering cronuts, doughnuts as well as new kid on the block, the milky bun, Chocolate Komberry Co. is pleasing the tums of market sweet tooths.

Everything that Leigh Devlin from Chocolate Komberry Co. does is hands-on and about engaging his customers. Similar to his other venture The Doughnut Bar, Leigh’s Chocolate Komberry Co. comes from humble beginnings. Leigh has always been a lover of Kombis (he now owns a total of nine) and practically locked himself away in the garage for two years to transform a Kombi into a food truck. The result was Chocolate Komberry Co., which is now responsible for satisfying the sweet cravings of the masses at Eat Street Markets.

On offer at Chocolate Komberry Co. are burger-sized cronuts with 64 layers of Danish pastry in the flavours of Tim Tam, Oreo and peanut butter. The doughnut range consists of eight flavours with favourites including the Golden Gaytime, Nutella cheesecake and Mars Bar. Leigh’s latest offering is the milky bun, which puts a new twist on the classic doughnut buy stuffing homemade ice-cream inside the doughy goodness. The doughnut is re-sealed, meaning that the blue ice-cream with vanilla bean and crushed cookies is contained inside the warm doughnut. The result is a less messy and mesmerising encounter with this indulgent treat.
