Just Eat It documentary examines food waste

For a culture so obsessed with reality cooking shows and Instagramming photos of our meals, it’s shocking how much food we actually let go to waste. According to the forthcoming food film Just Eat It, approximately 40% of everything raised or grown is currently being wasted. The filmmakers purport that we don’t need a complete revolution – just a few small tweaks – to help bring about positive change. Made by the creators of The Clean Bin Project, Just Eat It sees two very strong-minded foodies quitting grocery shopping cold turkey and surviving only off food that would have otherwise been thrown away. The film will premiere around the world next month, but you can take a sneak peek above. more
