1940s-style diner NKB Express opens in Indooroopilly
15 Jan 2015First they brought you the likes of Nantucket Kitchen & Bar, and now just a stone’s throw away they’ve unveiled the sweet new NKB Express. Maintaining an American bent, but this time throwing back to the epic era of the 1940s, TJ and Kim Peabody’s new cafe and restaurant takes cues from the milkbars and diners of yesteryear with sepia tones and olive-green booths. Focused on fast takeaway and casual dining, the venue offers many of the original Nantucket favourites such as the famous cherry pie and house-made ice-cream, plus plenty of gourmet burgers, bagels, hot dogs and waffles to round out the menu.
