Indulge in life’s finer things at Fish Lane’s La Lune Wine Co

We have a lot to thank Paul McGivern for. From Camp Hill’s Restaurant Rapide to Hamilton’s Restaurant Manx, and more recently to the hatted The Wolfe in East Brisbane, the renowned chef has been pleasing our palates for a number of years. So when he announced a new French-inspired wine bar in Fish Lane, our interest was naturally piqued. La Lune Wine Co quietly opened its doors over the weekend, and with more than 120 wines on the menu, we’re quite sure it won’t disappoint. more

The round-up: Brisbane’s best bar snacks with bite

Okay, that’s it – this is the last time I want to hear any of you say, “these pretzels are makin’ me thirsty”. We get it, Seinfeld is hilarious but pretzels as bar snacks are so clichéd. We’d rather tie our own stomachs in a pretzel-like knot than punish our tastebuds with any more basic salted snacks. We don't just want bar food with pizazz, we demand it. Forgo the fries and aioli for some nibbles with serious bite – we’ve got the 411 on where to go for some snacks with attitude. more

While the look is being kept under wraps until the relaunch on Saturday February 4, we’ve got the scoop on what you can expect. more
