Set your watches – it’s munch o’clock all day long at Bulimba’s Burger Time 69

What’s the time Mister Wolf? Burger time! No this isn’t a new game we’ve just invented (although we’re interested, to be honest), it’s the announcement of Bulimba’s newest eatery – Burger Time 69. If you enjoy sinking your fangs into burgers the size of your head, clear some time in your schedule to try the impressive range of protein patties, blissful buns and scrumptious street snacks on Oxford Street.

No matter the time of day, chances are if you offer us a burger, we’re going to be pretty darn interested. So needless to say, Burger Time 69 certainly piqued our interest – and we’re guessing it has yours too. The hole-in-the-wall burger joint has opened on Oxford Street, grilling up a bunch of beefy beauties to sate even the most behemoth of burger cravings. Eight burgers feature on Burger Time 69’s menu, and trust us – they aren’t for the faint-hearted. Take the Zues Burger, for example, stacked with double beef, double bacon, double cheese, lettuce and tomato. Oof. If you aren’t keen to double down, keep things classic with the BT Cheeseburger, or really hit the cheese with the Gorgon Zola – we’re talking beef, bacon, special cheese, blue cheese, onions and buffalo ketchup. Chicken lovers and vegetarians are catered for too in the burger department, and a vegan burger is on its way soon.

If burgers aren’t your thing, first of all, who are you? Second of all, that’s okay, because there’s time for other street eats at Burger Time 69. Sink your chomps into a drool-worthy Philly cheesesteak, hot dog or yiros, or snack on sides of buffalo wings with blue-cheese sauce, mac ‘n’ cheese balls, jalapeno poppers and four kinds of fries – potato, sweet potato, loaded with bacon and cheese, and haloumi. Takeaway is the focus at Burger Time 69 – delivery is available both directly and via UberEATS – however you can pull up a chair in the small outdoor area and pair your eats with a milkshake (spiked or not), $6 beer or cocktail. Oh and it’s fast food with a conscience here – Burger Time 69 uses all biodegradable packaging and locally sourced ingredients.
