Marcus Allison from Milton coffee haunt Bunker has teamed up with local providore LICK! Ice Cream to create his own indulgent flavours of ice-cream. With a base of cream, sugar and eggs that is then flavoured with the same coffee beans and couverture chocolate used in Bunker’s coffee and iced chocolates, the ice-cream is decidedly decadent. The 70% Dark Chocolate flavour carries an intense chocolate hit, and the Dark Horse ice-cream is infused with a rich coffee extract. More experiments are planned in the test kitchen to expand upon the two flavours currently available, with Marcus wanting to replicate his other hot chocolate flavours as part of his ice-cream foray.
