It’s taco time! The Coop Bistro kicks off its taco-fuelled fiesta Bueno Bueno
Taco Tuesdays are a thing of the past – if you ask us Taco Thursdays is the future. The Coop Bistro is set to launch Bueno Bueno its new weekly celebration of tacos (and the joy they bring) on Thursday January 18. Picture an array of cheap eats and some specialty drinks to wash them all down and suddenly the post-hump day slog gets a bit more bearable.
While many spots around Brisbane offer up cheap tacos on Tuesday evenings, it’s been a little while since a venue staked a whole night on dishing up the bargain bites. The Coop Bistro’s Bueno Bueno night shifts the fun to Thursdays, where tacos will be sold at $3 a pop between 5:00–10:00 pm, alongside a bunch of Mexican-inspired refreshments. Seven flavours of taco will be available to mix and match, with bites for carnivores and herbivores to enjoy.
Let’s get up close and personal with the menu – these tacos are some seriously tantalising tempters. Soft tortillas are lovingly filled with the likes of 24-hour pulled cola pork with beans, beetroot patties and pearl couscous, barbecue pulled beef with caramelised onion, chicken karaage, beans with red and green peppers, marinated jerk chicken, and roasted garlic mushrooms with kale crema. As for the drinks, The Coop will be stocking fridges with Dos Equis stubbies, while also serving up sangria, margaritas and tequila especially for Bueno Bueno.
