Southside favourite Bruno’s BNE launches dinners

Since opening in October 2016, Tarragindi cafe Bruno’s BNE has been welcomed with open arms by locals, with hungry bellies and coffee seekers flocking to the corner spot to get their fill. To keep up with demand Bruno recently completed an extension on the space, adding a second seating section and back deck to the sun-filled cafe, and this Friday March 10 will see the introduction of Friday and Saturday night dinners.

From 5:00–9:00 pm each Friday and Saturday night, Bruno’s BNE will open its doors to night dwellers, offering a laid-back menu of small and large share plates, burgers and desserts paired with a selection of wines and beer. You can nosh on small bites such as Korean fried chicken, buttermilk calamari and salmon croquettes, or grab a group of pals to bigger share dishes of mushroom bibimbap, pork belly tacos and lamb koftas. If you’re super hungry, go for the Korean-style beef burger, vegetarian black-bean burger or mouth-watering haloumi hot dog – just make sure you leave room for desserts of Turkish-delight panna cotta and honey pear and chestnut trifle.

As well as adding dinner, Bruno’s has revised its menu to be broken into breakfast, lunch and dinner (rather than its previous all-day vibes), but don’t fret – you can still get your beloved bacon and eggs all the way through until 2:00 pm.
