Delight-ful sips – Brookie’s Gin and The Smoking Camel pair up for a tasty Turkish delight-infused collab

There’s only one thing we like more than gin, and that’s gin that is infused with the flavours of one of our favourite sweet treats – Turkish delight. Beloved Byron Bay booze distillery Brookie’s Gin has partnered with Middle Eastern restaurant The Smoking Camel to create a Turkish Delight Gin that is sure to have your taste buds tingling. Tempted for a taste? Keep reading for all of the delectable details …

A passion project born from The Smoking Camel’s Kim Stephen and Eddie Brook of Brookie’s Gin, the Turkish Delight Gin fuses The Smoking Camel’s signature Middle Eastern flavours with Brookie’s top-tier gin botanicals. This one-of-a-kind gin is distilled with fragrant white aspen, which tastes like lemon gelato (yum!), and native raspberries that have been harvested from Brookie’s Cape Byron Distillery rainforest, and paired with notes of rose, sweet lemon and orange blossom to create that delicious Turkish delight flavour we all know and love. Created to resemble the tastes and smells of an authentic Turkish sweet shop, this delicious drink is best enjoyed on the rocks, but can also be shaken into a cocktail or used to elevate a classic G&T.

The Turkish Delight Gin will be exclusively available at The Smoking Camel, Light Years Asian Diner, Moonlight Japanese, through the Cape Byron Distillery website and cellar door in Byron, and from selected local bottle shops. You can sample the gin at The Smoking Camel in one of its signature cocktails, aptly named the Turkish Delight, or head to Light Years Noosa on Wednesday October 18 for a night of sipping and snacking at the Brookie’s Gin x The Smoking Camel pop-up.
