Have your meat delivered direct from the farmers with Bronel Natural Foods

Starting out originally as cattle farmers, Brett and Simone from Bronel Natural Foods were soon approached to buy the local Murgon butcher. This completed their paddock-to-plate business plan, and whilst they sell their own cattle they also have six other like-minded local farmers supplying meat through their butcher.

Food is very important to Brett and Simone and that is why at Bronel Natural Foods they treat their cattle like family. Using bonding techniques such as patting, talking and wandering around with the cattle getting to know their personalities, they can ensure the cattle remain stress free and happy. They also feed them good-quality grass and adopt organic principles to ensure a tender and tasty beef. Brett and Simone believe that our bodies soon tell us when we consume food that is not intended for us, and that our Earth is telling us the same thing.

Bronel cattle are smaller than most, and smaller cattle have a finer grain meaning the meat is tender. Smaller cattle also provide you with smaller steaks, which assists with smaller portion size for easy moderation. All cattle are grass fed and finished (foraging on grass their entire lives), ensuring the beef is free of gluten, hormones and antibiotics.

Bronel Natural Foods takes phone and internet orders through its butcher and Brett delivers to the Boundary Street Markets each Saturday at 3:30 pm. This means you can meet the farmer and discuss the product, as well as help Bronel support other local farmers in the South Burnett who sell stall-free pork, free-range chicken, chemical-free honey, capers and caperberries, free-range and organic eggs and organic flavoured olives.
