Brisbane Quarter set to unleash its world-class dining and entertainment offering
Ever since W Brisbane captured our attention when it opened back in June, we have been waiting with bated breath to see what else Brisbane Quarter has in store for the city. Well, the wait is almost over – come September, the world-class dining and entertainment precinct will be opening the first of its tenants to the public. Here’s what we know so far …
The dining aspect of Brisbane Quarter is going to be next level, with the first three key restaurants coming in hot with serious credentials. Byron favourite Three Blue Ducks has already been making waves at its home in W Brisbane, and it is about to gain some tasty neighbours in the Brisbane Quarter precinct. Persone by Gambaro will be making mouths water with its contemporary Italian cuisine, while Heritij is helmed by Michelin-starred chef Manjunath Mural and will bring Indian-inspired gastronomy to the area. As well as top-notch eats, each of these venues has a killer bar offering loaded with atmosphere – perfect for post-work tipples or a weekend outing with pals.
Although Brisbane Quarter undoubtedly has a luxe touch, the mixed-use development is still accessible to all city-dwelling crowds. More casual spots will cater to those who work in the CBD and crave a high-quality feed without the fuss – NYC Bagel Deli, Sandwich Chefs and The Simple Life Cafe cover off all manner of cravings. The precinct also offers up a range of handy services to keep you looking sharp – Emporium Barber provides slick cuts and Wil Valor can kit you out in bespoke tailored suits.
This is just the beginning – for more details on what to expect when Brisbane Quarter launches in September, keep your eyes on The Weekend Edition.
