All aboard Brisbane Distillery’s double-decker gin bus
Calling all gin enthusiasts! A double-decker gin bus has driven into Brisbane full to the brim with a collection of boozy imbibes just waiting to be sipped. Currently parked at City Botanic Gardens every Sunday, this coach full of cocktails is the handiwork of the team at West End distillery and bar Brisbane Distillery. Here’s all of the delicious details …
The stuff of gin lover’s dreams, Brisbane Distillery’s rebuilt 1974 Atlantean double-decker bus is a fully self-contained cocktail bar and tastings event space. Coined The True Spirit of Queensland, the four-wheeled booze bus (not that kind) boasts comfortable booths, plenty of stools and ample standing room for up to 40 people inside. It’s a haven for drinkers of fine artisan gin, rhum and vodka – just let us on board already!
So you can enjoy all of the botanical goodness, the spirited crew of Brisbane Distillery have created a cocktail flight menu featuring three handcrafted cocktails for just $24.99. You can enjoy the tipples in a booth in the upstairs section of the bus or downstairs, you can tantalise your tastebuds with complimentary tastings of gin and rhum. Of course, you can still snag yourself a regular ol’ G&T and a bottle (or two) of Brisbane Distillery’s best for your home bar cart. If that’s not enough, you can even book The True Spirit of Queensland for your next soiree.
