Botanica Real Food unveils its second salad and sweets haven in Teneriffe
Proving that you can make friends with salad, Botanica Real Food has become so popular it has needed to expand. Inner-north locals are rejoicing now that Botanica has brought its range of scrumptious salads to Teneriffe.
Botanica Real Food’s Red Hill location has long been one of Brisbane’s most popular and well-known healthy takeaway spots since opening three years ago – and for good reason. It’s not uncommon for lines of hungry regulars to snake out the door most days at lunchtime, with patrons vying to get their hands on a box of the outlet’s gourmet salads or a couple of sweet snacks. Heeding the call for its goods to come to other corners of Brisbane, the Botanica brains trust of Alison and Brett Hutley decided an expansion was required, thus began the search for the popular eatery’s second location. The new location has now opened in Teneriffe on the corner of Doggett and Chester Streets, with a clean and bright space that offers patrons a bit more elbow room as they jostle to get a glimpse of the daily salad offerings.
If you are worried that success will go to Botanica’s head, have no fear. The Teneriffe location is keeping the same menu as Red Hill, with its reliable selection of salads rotating daily. If you simply can’t cope without some Israeli cous cous with with roasted sweet potatoes and baby spinach, don’t worry – they’ve still got it. Addicted to Botanica Real Food’s vegan brownies with coconut caramel? You can get your fix at Teneriffe. If you need to pick up a quick breakfast on your way to work, Botanica Real Food Teneriffe will still be stocking its tasty breakfast packs and freshly baked sourdough. The Teneriffe location does boast a larger kitchen, which Alison and Brett will use to expand Botanica Real Food’s catering operations – great news for anyone looking to put on a good spread at a forthcoming event.
