Philip Johnson’s Bistro One Eleven opens at Riverside

The newest venture of renowned Brisbane chef Philip Johnson has opened its doors in Brisbane City. Situated within the Riverside-based One One One building, the much-anticipated Bistro One Eleven mirrors the simple, flavourful Australian cuisine Philip Johnson has become known for at e’cco bistro.

Catering to the business-meeting crowd and inner-city dweller, Bistro One Eleven is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on weekdays and for dinner on Saturdays. Mixing elements of fine dining within a casual, relaxed space, Bistro One Eleven offers a suave meeting place for lunchtime catch-ups, business meetings or a post-work drink.

Driven by the local produce, the menu ranges from bite-sized Scotch duck eggs and cured pork loin to light meals like Wagyu Carpaccio, Artichoke Pesto, Buffalo Mozzarella & Olive. Slow-cooked Trout with Leeks, Sprouts, Celeriac Puree and Champagne Veloute feature on the mains menu, with Almond Doughnuts with Blood Orange and Almond Ice-cream tempting dessert to be taken.
