When the emails are coming in thick and fast and you need to step out of the office for a brain break, there’s no better way to take a breather than with a cheeky lunch out. Fortitude Valley culinary gem Bisou Bisou has your back during the work week with a tantalising express lunch menu that will level up your midday downtime.

If you’re yet to indulge your senses at Fortitude Valley’s Bisou Bisou, take this announcement of its express lunch menu as a sign to pull up a chair and treat yourself. From Monday through to Friday, lunchtime adventurers can trot on down to the glamorous Brunswick Street restaurant to fill their bellies with French-inspired bites made with top-notch locally sourced ingredients. Curated by chef Anthony Donaldson, Bisou Bisou’s express lunch can be enjoyed as a two-course meal for $48 or as a three-course feast for $58 – which is a steal for fine-dining fare like this.

Mouth-watering entrees include chicken ballotine with rotisserie corn, sorghum and smoked almonds, grilled baby octopus tart with oyster cream, capsicum and fennel, and roasted field mushrooms with sauce vierge and hazelnut. For the main affair, diners will have to make the difficult decision between slow-cooked lamb shoulder with pearl onions, broad beans and spring onion, steamed barramundi with asparagus, capers and saltbush, and potato and chickpea gnocchi with roasted pumpkin, black cabbage and dates. An out-of-office lunch isn’t complete without dessert but don’t fret, Bisou Bisou has three decadent dishes on offer – rhum baba with spiced pineapple and vanilla chantilly, chocolate and hazelnut mousse cake, and pain d’épices with mandarin sorbet and burnt vanilla brulee.

To top off this killer gastronomic spread, Bisou Bisou is also offering complimentary two-hour valet parking for any express lunch booking from Monday to Thursday from 12:00–3:00 pm. It’s as easy as leaving your car with the trusted Hotel X concierge team while you’re whisked away to indulge in primo Parisian delights. Bookings are essential to secure free valet parking so visit the Bisou Bisou website or contact the reservations team on 07 3131 8900 to secure a spot.
