If you’re yet to visit Banjo’s Bakery in Darra, then what have you been doing this past year? The Tasmanian-born bakery and cafe chain opened its full-service cafe and drive-through in March 2020 and has quickly become a favourite amongst hungry Brisbane folk craving a carb-fuelled lunch. Well, friends, you now have another excuse to hop in your car and put Banjo’s in your GPS. The baked-goods brainiacs have whipped up a creation that will have your mouth watering and your belly grumbling for seconds – a lasagne pie.

In a win for our tastebuds, Banjo’s Bakery’s lasagne pie joined its iconic line-up of signature pies earlier this month, which also features much-loved flavours like bangers and mash, chicken parmigiana, double cheeseburger and Tasmanian scallop. Adding a splash of Italian fare into the mix, Banjo’s lasagne pie is created with layers of fresh pasta wedged between juicy beef mince with tomato, garlic and vegetables. It’s then topped with cheese and cradled in a flaky golden pastry shell.

The salivation-inducing lasagne pie is now available to snag at all Banjo’s Bakery locations in-store, online with click and collect via Banjo’s website and on Uber Eats. For Banjo’s Bakery’s operating hours, check out our Stumble Guide. Psst … while you’re there, bag yourself a sweet treat too – we’ve heard the custard scrolls are just scrumptious!

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Brisbane dining guide with more than 2400 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
