Azafrán Restaurant launches Saturday breakfast

Weekends are all about slowing down and enjoying the good things in life, like a steaming tot of espresso, a good conversation and a long, lazy breakfast. Azafrán Restaurant in Annerley is now giving its customers the chance to enjoy all of these things every Saturday morning.

When your breakfast has been crafted in the Azafrán Restaurant kitchen, it’s safe to say it’s going to be the most important meal of your day. Think freshly baked croissants, pork croquettes and herbed French toast. After launching its weekday breakfast menu just a few months ago, the Annerley favourite has now extended the early morning enjoyment to Saturdays too. Open from 7:00 am weekdays and 8:00 am Saturdays, Azafrán will serve its guests Merlo Coffee beans teamed with Barambah Organics milk, as well as a wide range of liquid breakfast smoothies. Housemade preserves and pastries satisfy sweet-tooths, while those after heartier fare can feast on dishes like confit duck bruschetta and breakfast tortillas.

Saturday breakfast is just one of the many changes introduced at Azafrán in recent months, with owners Marc and Sarah Bocquée launching a brand-new cocktail list as well as new a la carte, group and tasting menus in refurbished surrounds.
