After ten years at the pinnacle of Brisbane’s restaurant scene, the team behind Aria Brisbane has announced that the eatery will close in roughly six weeks’ time. In a statement posted to the restaurant’s website, co-owners Bruce Solomon and Matt Moran made the announcement that Aria would close when the restaurant’s lease ends. The duo thanked the city of Brisbane and their staff for supporting the venture for the past decade, before announcing a special offering for the last six weeks of service.

From now until Aria’s final service on Saturday June 15, the kitchen will be serving a special ten-course tasting menu featuring several iconic dishes that have graced the restaurant’s tables over the past ten years. The special menu includes the likes of Aria’s goats curd cigar, duck-and-pea pie, toasted-rice sorbet, scampi with potato salad and fried Brussels sprouts with shallots and soy.
