Anything but average at Stomp Espresso, Holland Park

Anything but average at Stomp Espresso, Holland Park

Suburban coffee joints are no longer relegated to providing sub-standard takeaway for commuters, but have developed into culinary destinations that provide a distinctively good meal as well as a quality cup of joe.

For Holland Park natives, Stomp Espresso is one such local joint that refuses to conform to basics. Perched on busy Holland Road, Stomp has on offer a menu that is experimental in its twists on traditional cafe fare – think dreamy combinations of Corn and Chilli Toast or Smashed Pea and Haloumi Fritters.

Caffeine addicts after their first brew of the day can bask in the constant stream of Veneziano coffee being freshly made in the kitchen by the baristas. For tea drinkers, there is also an extensive range of specialty teas on offer with delicate names like Lavender Grey and Honeydew Green. Take your first sip of the day with the Thyme and Feta Mushrooms on Panne de Case Toast in the redesigned outdoor seating area.

Open at the early bird hour of 5:30 am Monday to Saturdays, Stomp is sure to be awake for your first morning cup of coffee and, having recently celebrated its first birthday, has proven it will be there for many mornings to come.
