Sneak peek: Alfred & Constance pops up at Teneriffe Festival

While wandering the family-friendly streets of the Teneriffe Festival on Saturday, you may find yourself fed up with crowded footpaths and clumps of children on every corner, but don’t worry, you’ll find some sweet solace at the Alfred & Constance pop-up party.

The slick creation of Limes Hotel maestro Damien Griffiths, this event is a sneak peek into the drinks and delicacies available at the Alfred & Constance restaurant, which, come August, will become a permanent fixture to Brisbane.

Entitled the Pork, Fork and Cork event, the pop-up will play taste tester and tantaliser to Brisbane locals who are looking forward to the opening of Alfred & Constance’s permanent residence. This culinary party will also feature the menu from the new venue, which is set to officially open in August, neighbouring its big sister Limes. On Saturday you can nibble on the delectable creations of Patron Chef Jocelyn Hancock or sample some of the drinks courtesy of Limes’ Tiki Bar.

The event will be found snuggled down in the Double One 3 Laneway during the Teneriffe Festival on Saturday, July 7. This hidden oasis will present ample opportunity to eat and drink, as well as bust out some dance moves, thanks to the accompanying DJs and a fashion parade. There’s free entry all day, from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm. You can stay up to date with all Alfred & Constance-related news via its Facebook page.
