Drumroll, please – the winners of The Weekend Edition’s 12th annual EAT/drink Awards are here!

As we barrel forward into the second half of 2019, we are so excited to look back and celebrate all of the coffee haunts, drinking dens and dining destinations that have contributed to the rich tapestry of the Brisbane food experience. The past 12 months have been very busy for our ever-growing city – we’ve seen some landmark new openings (alongside some heartbreaking closures) that have helped to shape Brisbane’s unique dining scene. As always, looking at the list of this year’s EAT/drink Award winners makes us glow with pride over what our city’s food culture has to offer.

A well-earned congratulations goes out to all of the winners and runners-up of The Weekend Edition’s 12th annual EAT/drink Awards for 2019! Supported by our good mates at Newstead Brewing Co., this year’s awards recognise the beloved institutions, the ambitious newcomers and the all-time favourites, with each winner nominated and voted by you, our readers.

This year is truly the biggest that the EAT/drink Awards has ever seen – from massive social media campaigns to physical in-store encouragement, your nominated venues went above and beyond to rally support and get those votes. The effort well and truly paid off, with the results reflected in the votes  – we received a record number of people coming through to have their say! Thank you to all of the amazing people who took the time to vote and nominate their favourite spots. Now it’s time to raise our glasses to another year of incredible eating and drinking in Brisbane.
