Young At Heart Film Festival

Australia’s only film festival programmed for film lovers aged 60 and up, Young At Heart, will return 11-17 April 2016 to Palace Centro. Tickets start at just $6, and everyone is welcome!

The 11th seniors film festival includes a stellar program of acclaimed movies to discover before everyone else, from must-see premieres to new prints of beloved classics such as A Streetcar Named Desire with Marlon Brando and Vivien Leigh.

Program highlights include three new dramas which explore our relationships with our parents (and our children) as we grow older: LOUDER THAN BOMBS starring Isabelle Huppert and Gabriel Byrne; FATHERS AND DAUGHTERS with Russell Crowe and Jane Fonda; and from Italy MIA MADRE with John Turturro and Margherita Buy. Fans of true stories should seek out the fascinating documentary HARRY AND SNOWMAN, the story of an extraordinary friendship between a man and his horse Snowman, who, saved from slaughter, went on to break show jumping records and thrill crowds, becoming a household name in the late 1950’s.
