Indulge your curiosity as the world’s most intriguing idea-makers converge once again on Brisbane Powerhouse for the Spring/Summer Writers+Ideas series.

From October 2, a range of mind-expanding events will bring together a captivating cross-section of authors, journalists and comedians to enthral and entertain attendees in a provocative and intimate venue. The expanded 2018 program features a diverse selection of topics including cooking when you are more likely to burn water plus feuds, politics, friendships and much more.

Spring/Summer highlights include:

  • Ex-Prime Minister Kevin Rudd (Friday October 26) in conversation as he chats about his new autobiography
  • One of Australia’s best-loved TV and media personalities, Annabel Crabb (Friday November 2) and ABC Radio’s Rebecca Levingston as they wax lyrical about Crabb’s new book
  • Another instant classic from one of Australia’s most cherished cooks and food educators Stephanie Alexander (Thursday November 8) brimming with tips, techniques and recipes.
