World’s Biggest Garage Sale (WBGS) is a Brisbane based start-up/scale-up, designing solutions to commercialise the circular economy through the activation of dormant goods for good. The event team maximises the value of goods already in the economy, through the circular principles of recycle, repurpose, reuse, and re-commerce. In doing so, they’re diverting landfill, and drawing wealth from waste which is invested back into our local communities.

World’s Biggest Garage Sale returns to Brisbane November 17 at Arcadia Industrial Estate, Coopers Plains. This year will be double the excitement with two warehouses filled with bargains to discover. Unit 6 will hold our traditional garage sale stock. This is the space you will be able to explore and discover one-of-a-kind items and treasures lovingly donated by the community. Unit 7 will be full of brand new items generously donated by one of the event’s charity partners Good360, stock will include 1000s of pairs of brand new shoes and garments. There will be a diverse range of food trucks onsite for the day to nourish you while you shop for goods, while special guests Planet Ark will have an educational stall set up inside the event.
