World Science Festival: Night Adventure

World Science Festival: Night Adventure

Enjoy a guided night-walk with staff from Brisbane City Council’s Environment Centres and discover the wonders of the Botanic Gardens after dark! Prior to the night-walk meet some live native animals usually found in the bush and even in our backyards. Children will have an opportunity to get up close and personal while learning about native animals and more with a wildlife expert. Participants will walk 2kms and the activity will continue in light rain.

Requirements: All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please eat a light meal prior to the walk. Please wear secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, long pants and long sleeves. Bring a small hand-held torch (no headlamps), insect repellent, drinking water, and a raincoat if required.

Meeting point: Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha Auditorium
