World Expeditions Free Info Night – Nepal and Bhutan
World Expeditions has been pioneering adventure travel to the Himalaya for more than 30 years. This is your chance to learn about the magic of this remote pristine wilderness and the unique cultures and festivals of Nepal and Bhutan. This free information session will let you know what you’re in for and get you excited for a future trip!
World Expeditions treks offer a great opportunity to leave Nepal’s tourist trails and venture into the deep forests and roam the high alpine passes. Travel to the base of the sacred, fluted peak of Machapuchare. Go into the Annapurnas, beyond the tea house trails and trek through traditional Hindu villages where we are assured of a warm welcome. In Chitwan National Parkwe, undertake a wildlife safari in search of rhino and the Bengal tiger.
Take the trekkers pilgrimage to Everest Base Camp using comfortable new permanent campsites with above ground bedding, head-high tents, western style toilets and an eco-friendly dining room! The Gokyo Lakes trek is a more tranquil journey through the Sherpa heartland that affords ample time for acclimatisation with opportunities to savour the mountain panoramas.
The evening will also inform visitors about tranquil Bhutan. In this serene kingdom we explore the cultural heritage and we follow trails that lead high above the Paro and Thimphu valleys to gain unrivalled views of the Himalayan peaks that define the borderlands of Bhutan and Tibet.
This session is free but spaces are filling quickly, so reserve your spot now!
