Works from the Collection
Featuring Davida Allen’s Archibald Prize-winning portrait of her father-in-law, Works from the Collection focusses on large scale works from the second half of the 20th century held within the city’s art collection.
The Collection brings together artworks and objects which demonstrate meaningful social and cultural interactions between the artist, their environment and their cultural background as well as historical and significant objects relating to Ipswich heritage. Selected for this exhibition are works by Davida Allen, Michael Shannon, Sybil Curtis, George Gittoes and more.
