Wine & Cheese of New Zealand
On Ekka Holiday-eve 2019, the folks at Treasury Brisbane will be embarking on a fabulous foodie adventure through the far-away land of New Zealand, showcasing the best cheese and wine sourced from the mystical ‘land of the long white cloud’. On August 13, several of Treasury Brisbane’s spaces will be given over for an evening of delights, where guests will be treated to cheese tasting, wine sampling, live entertainment and craft beer. Those in attendance will be able to sip phenomenal varieties New Zealand has to offer, including drops from Matua Valley, Squealing Pig, Dog Point just to name a few. The evening will kick off with a salivation-inducing spread of cheeses and canapes at Treasury’s courtyard, Ryan’s on the Park and The Lab, while the cocktail bar pours craft beer from New Zealand’s Pan Head and 42 Below vodka.
VIP Tickets are available for the Dog Point Room in The Lab, where guests can sample wine from New Zealand’s premium wine growing region Marlborough, which produces fruit on low cropped vines grown under organic principles that are hand-picked to ensure quality. Enjoy a glass alongside Dog Point’s chief winemaker Matthew Sutherland, indulge in a selection Dog Point Wines, premium cheese and canapes, and soak up the live entertainment. To top it off, several thrilling lucky door prizes will be drawn throughout the evening.
