What’s Cooking in the Gardens? is a celebration of food, lifestyle and sustainability. Festival-goers will enjoy vibrant displays and demonstrations as this normally secluded haven – Redcliffe Botanic Gardens – transforms into a world of ‘green’ fun. Gardening and cooking gurus galore will be on hand to share their collective years of wisdom on all things eco-botanical.

Ballycara Garden Stage
Don’t miss the amazing and informative presentations that cover a wide range of topics including herb gardens, organic gardening tips, composting, edible flowers and more. The Ballycara Garden Stage also welcomes Gardening Australia host, Costa Georgiadis.

Strathpine Centre Cooking Stage
Food lovers get ready for a day of exquisite menus from culinary experts. The Strathpine Centre Cooking Stage is very excited to announce celebrity chefs – Matt Sinclair and Huey.

Lifestyle & DIY Stage
From marmalades and seed growing to fermenting food and sustainable practices – the Lifestyle & DIY Stage has it all. Hear from the best in the business as they share their secrets!

Little Grubs
Kids! Head to Little Grubs for kids workshops and activities taking place all day long.

There will be wonderful interactive workshops for all ages, demonstrations and displays and so much more, or simply wander through the paths of market stalls, filled with fresh, local produce, delicious treats and handmade goodies.
