If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to cultivate a green thumb and tend to your garden with some extra attention, then we know a workshop you should put in your calendar. On Saturday February 27, West Village is digging up a wealth of plant knowledge to deliver a class that’ll give you some Costa-level gardening skills.

Armed with a spade and some soil, West Village’s resident gardener Amelia Valenti, who hosted a series of online tutorials last year, is bringing these workshops to life with a more hands-on approach. The February workshop will focus on companion planting, and Amelia will guide novice horticulturists through the different plant varieties that pair well based on their maintenance needs. Plus, each participant will get to make their very own herb or vegetable garden filled with species that will grow together in harmony.
