The West End Film Festival (WEFF) is an Australian short film competition held in one of Australia’s most vibrant communities, Brisbane’s West End.

WEFF is entering its tenth year and is excited to launch the 2018 season! Accepting short films, music videos and animations under 15 minutes in duration, there are nine awards and cash prices to be won.

WEFF was established in 2009 by a group of local filmmakers who understood the need for an annual, Brisbane-based program concentrating purely on the medium of short film.

The festival continues to connect with the founding objectives of supporting grassroots Australian filmmakers and delivering a quality event that reflects West End’s culture and its people.
