A free and vibrant community event, WELCOMEfest brings Brisbane’s diverse cultural communities together to create welcome, discover cultures and celebrate everyone’s contribution to multicultural Australia. As part of the World Refugee Week celebrations, WELCOMEfest allows you to travel around the world in one day without hopping on a plane! Experience world culture through international eats, music and dance performances, DJs, workshops and displays, a dynamic sports program, engaging children’s activities and heaps more on the day.

With over 17,000 people attending annually, WELCOMEfest has become one of Australia’s largest multicultural festivals and is one of the sunshine state’s signature community events.
