Hold on to your hats, folks! Violent Femmes are returning to our shores for the most extensive tour in more than a decade – it’s Australia All Over. This headline offering follows a sold-out national tour earlier in 2016 that included top billed spots at Womadelaide, Golden Plains, Twilight @ Taronga and A Day On The Green.

This tour, however, is going off-grid – the Femmes will traverse the road less travelled, appearing in regional and suburban centres, major cities and completing an encore of their A Day On The Green headline shows with Hoodoo Gurus.

Continuing the localised theme, Violent Femmes have also invited Rayella (an indigenous father-daughter duo from Marlinja in the Northern Territory) along for shows here in Queensland. Femmes bassist Brian Ritchie first encountered Rayella at the Bush Band Bash in Alice Springs back in 2014 and both parties hooked up for an informal jam after a Violent Femmes show in Perth.

This tour presents Violent Femmes as you know and love them appearing Australia All Over. Tickets for the show go on sale Friday December 16 at 10:00 am, so get your clicking fingers ready because these will fly off the proverbial shelves.
