Enjoy a rollicking one-day carnival as talented performers and artists strut their creative stuff throughout the South Bank Cultural Precinct from 3:00–10:00 pm on Saturday February 14. The free, all-ages event will see buskers dotted around the area from 3:00 pm, followed by an attempt to break the Guinness World Records title for ‘Largest Busk’ on Maiwar Green from 6:00–7:00 pm. Melbourne band The Basics (featuring Gotye) will headline from 8:00 pm, and be sure to stick your head into South Bank’s surrounding cultural institutions, which will be welcoming visitors until 9:30 pm that night. Valentine’s Busk will help raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Foundation Music Therapy Program, which helps to rehabilitate little patients through singing, dancing and playing instruments.
