Canadian-born indie rock band TOPS will take over Melt Festival on Thursday November 23, alongside alternative pop group Platonic Sex. Since its formation in 2011, TOPS has become one of the most influential underground bands of the past decade with their unique, stripped down and honest style of music and songwriting. With hearts firmly on their sleeves, Jane Penny (vocals), Marta Cikojevic (keys), David Carriere (guitar) and Riley Fleck (drums) explore the complexity of personal relationships through their music. TOPS’ repertoire consists of three self-produced records and a scatter of singles that range from soft rock-infused pop hits to moody ballads.
